Carlos González Manjarrez
Graduate in graphic design, master's degree in advertising and currently a doctorate in education. His work linked to the International Poster Biennial in Mexico leads him to be part of the Co-Direction of the BICM. His professional experience is nurtured in advertising agencies and in the coordination of important thematic poster collections, highlighting “Children and AIDS,” an exhibition from Mexico and Japan. Curator of the exhibitions: Innovation in Design by the Japanese designer Kenya Hara (2010), Beijing Opera and Poster Stellars in Mexico (2023). A professor at the bachelor's and master's levels at the national and international level, he has obtained silver awards in visual design in Japan at Nagoya Design Do 2002. Gold in poster at the XIIQuórum, Mexico. Finalist in 2018 in cultural poster at the Slovak Triennial. Finalist in the first Peking Opera Biennial 2022. He has been a juror in various biennials and international competitions and his work has been published and presented in exhibitions in more than 15 countries. He is a managing member of the international Design education group C-IDEA since 2023. He currently works at CG Design as a director in strategic design, transmedia and digital marketing projects.
