The Velvet Revolution marked a turning point in the history of Czechoslovakia. In 1989, thousands of people took to the streets to peacefully demand political change, ushering in a new democratic era. At the center of this process was Václav Havel, a writer, thinker, and one of the most important voices of that transformation.
This tribute honors the memory of Havel and a movement that turned civic engagement, freedom, and public expression into forces capable of transforming a society. An exhibition that invites us to look to history to reflect on the present and the possibilities of building different futures.
