Say goodbye to someone is always sad. In 2009, Japanese plastics arts lost one of its most important sculptors and designers in Tokyo. Shigeo Fukuda is a key reference of the social transition that Japan had after the strong blows of the World War II. In his arts the result of the fusion of east and west is condensed, an eye that coupled the best of the textures, techniques and forms of the two maxims into which the world is divided; his work is east meeting west. The latter is reflected in a series of tributes that now merge into a collection where colors and ideologies impact, colliding in cheerful posters and surprising sculptures. The International Poster Biennial in Mexico is proud to present the tribute to a great; Shigeo Fukuda.
