You are a designer who solves social problems, for that we are educated. Inventing something that serves no more than a social class or to meet the needs of only a small group does not make much sense. Tell me who has thought about solving the problems of everyday flea markets, where you see that people assemble and disarm their reality. Couldn’t design be the one that makes this function cleaner, tidier and with less effort? Of course yes. If all that sensitivity to solve problems were applied by the Mexican designer, we would be thinking of a country with a better quality of life. The design in the end is that. Whether it is pretty or not, whether it looks more like German or French, I don’t care, its function is what we have to take care of.
