Pouya Jahanshahi

An active member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and IGDS (Iranian Graphic Design Society), Jahanshahi is actively involved in design issues on both sides of the world. He is the founder of FarsiTypography.com, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness within the Western design community about the evolution of Persian typography and design. He is a co-founder of Local / Not Local, a collaborative traveling exhibition of contemporary Arabic and Iranian typography. Dedicated to design that makes a social impact.
